A N80 with built in GPS would be nice...even nicer would be if they also upgraded the camera with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus...put more emphasis on the Flickr app and they could call it the "N80 Photo Edition" Make the backside look like the N93i...

Of course a N80 with GPS and upgraded camera with S60v9 F1 is called a N95.

Yeah, Jonny, I had the Blackjack for a week. Freakin 3G is A-Freakin-Mazingly fast here in Dallas, but I just can't stand Windows Mobile. No copy/paste in a smartphone is ridiculous, among many many many other complaints.

And Angel_Wing_0, I know, honestly I can't believe I'm skipping either. Mostly it's because of the lack of US 3G, but also it's a bit financial right now, boating season is soon to be upon us and I have alot of work to do on mine. I have an N73 and E62 and I'm pretty satisfied.

OMG an N95 with US 3G, I think I just creamed my pants just THINKING about it. Can it be black like the Music Editions, too?! Me and Olly were just talking about htis earlier....

What does this actually limit? And what would we be using in the states if we are not using 3g? I still do not understand all the different bands..

Wirelessly posted (Manson fan: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6540/1558; en; U; ssr))

i'll probably get it within the first two weeks, as long as it's under nine hundred

could be, i just dont want to close the deal else if nokia did came out with one i wll have to eat my words

but imo, there wont be one. Else it would have been announced already.

lets say that rumour is true...it will only be a software issue...not hardware....and i am sure by the time the so called second wave of phones come out there will be an firmware update for the first batch...and even with the delays i a sure the first batch of N95 will be less buggy than any other model released (n73.N80,N93,N91,E61 and so on)

i'm a little late

could someone explain to me why this phone doesn't support US 3G?

doesn't US 3G use HDSPA and doesn't this phone have that?

I agree....the fact that the N800 can do it should have no bearing on whether the N95 can do it or not. My 770 cant do it but it is designed for web use exclusively and I found the E61's browsing experience to be better overall. It certainly found a wifi connection and stay connected much better and it connected to my home network in seconds where the 770 still takes up to 2-3 minutes at times. That being said, S60's are far more sophisticated than the linux driven tablets and should at least be able to run what they do. The N95 is priced twice as much as the N800 so a little feature that allows one of the most popular web applications to work would be nice and SHOULD be available. The mickey mouse solution that AAS reported is just not good enough IMO. We should be able to go to ringnokia.com or Darlas site and just click on the videos and watch them.

I am predicting that N95 FW will be less buggy compared to N80/N73/N93 intitial FW as S60v3 is pretty stable now. It is just matter of porting to another device. However GPS is new in this device. We have to wait and see!

If you look at the past N80 had more bugs than N93, N73, N91 & E61 as N80 was released first. E61 first batch(FW wise) had rarely any issues.

I want one as soon as possible...I think the price is justifiable since it will replace my previous phone, ipod, gps, and camera... Those who are going to skip on it please explain why, and what phone you have chosen instead.

I can't replace my iPod with a phone until I can store ALL of my music (18GB and growing) on one phone. GPS and Camera I've already got with my N73. Sure it's not built-in, but it's close enough for me, I only use GPS when driving, anyhow. GPS tagging of photos would be cool, but not a big necessity for me.

with unlimited data from Cingular, WiFi has no appeal to me, which is why I'm holding out for the N75. Yes, I realize it's a downgrade from my N73, but it's also much cheaper and has US 3G. Now if I can get an N95 with US 3G, I'm all over that like a fat kid on a ho-ho.

2-3 weeks once the 1200 price tags start dropping to a reasonable 800-900 level. If the n93i is debuting at a grand and the 8800 Scirocco Edition was even more....the N95 will possibly be record shattering and no phone is worth that!! Except maybe an iphone

do you really need 18 gigs of music with you? whats the point of that? if i was thinking like you, the only reason why i wouldnt get it is cuse i wont beable to take all my anime with me!!

i could easly bring 18 gigs or about 36 gigs in my wallet! i plan on making a micro sd card holder the size of a credit card, i could fit 9 micro sd cards on to a credit card, and there thinner then the credit cards too.

36 gigs is if nokia will release a firmwere that supports it!!
