n95 review

i dont believe anyone has posted this, as i am pretty sure ive seen every webpage related to the n95 since i am quite obsessed with it, but heres another review i found at the nokialist

I'd really like to see the "other" reviews this one kept referring to. This review seemed to be a detailed list of the phone's specs. I could've read that off a spec sheet. Anytime it started to go into detail about anything, the writer says, "that's all I'm gonna say about that" or "this is only a production model though". I think I learned more about the N73 than the N95 after reading it because he referred to it so much.

what i want to know is if this will have a ram issue and if the battery life will be aslong as mentioned!!

does anyone know how much ram the n95 will have?

suppose to be 64 mb, thats what i (and darla) got from the nokia finland staff before open studio.

Back to the review...sorta needs proofreading imo, for example: "This is Nokia?s first Nseries device to adopt the microSD concept," then: "With 160MB of internal memory and hot swappable support of miniSD cards of up to 2GB, the N95 leaves no worries about where to save any thing."

Hmm...

"Although the 5-way directional key worked perfectly, we think it would?ve added much more comfort if Nokia used a joystick, similar to what we saw in N73 and E50. With the sliding nature of N95, we do think the joystick
would?ve been a much better choice for ergonomic and usability considerations."

Has this idiot ever used an N73s joystick...i've never heard it referred to as comfortable. I'm personally a fan of directional pads and would have puked if the n95 came with a wobbler like the one on the N73 and E61....remember the 6620 and how your hand felt 20 minutes into fiddling..

I nearly spat out my coffee when I saw that they'd much prefer a joystick. I couldn't think of anything more horrid than the joysticks on the E60 and E61. I hope Nokia confine them to the bin forever and stick with d-Pads.

is there someone that disagrees.....and unfortunately it seams that the majority of their "smart phones" are being developed with that godforsaken thing.

Hopefully somehow you heard it wrong and it's more!! Not that I dont trust you
.......but someone that was at the open studio came back and told us hofoers that the N95 was a tri and not a quad!

Wirelessly posted (Nokia E61: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es61)

Sorry...i was just fn around

That question has been asked so many times now it just makes me wonder. Are people under the impression that if they have a 150gig hardrive on there PC that they have 150 gigs of ram? Perhaps it's that people arent looking at Symbians as CPU's when in fact that's exactly what they are. 64 mb's of Ram should be plenty but I have a sneaky suspicion that the N95's system resources are going to be a bit more taxed than the E61 since it's loaded with so much stuff...like the alternative multi-media men which is probably always running like the gallery in the N73 and god know what else. I pray....let me say it again, I pray that the N95 has Zero Ram issues.
