I have NO idea what the f- we're talking about anymore.

BACK ON TOPIC, no, I did not preorder and I absolutely refuse to do so unless x1387 offers something like that for $800 or less. WAY too many scammers to throw down that kind of money without a solid release date.

But nobody carries a dedi-cam on a routine basis.
A phone, one does.
While I had a usable cam-phone (SE w800i), I became quite the amateur photographer - simply because it was always with me.
Isn't the essence of photography siezing a fleeting moment ?
One which would undoubtedly escape given the inconvenience of fetching your dedi-cam ?
The all-in-one convergence device will always command silly premiums exactly because people refuse to carry two devices.
Dedi-cams tend to moulder in drawers and cupboards - so why not allocate the wasted resource to a half-decent cam-phone (the cam being the half-decent element in the case of the N95).
Reasons I'm getting the N95, in order of importance (other than that it's S60) : -

- 5MP camera
- Great D-pad/handling
- O/B GPS

Just wondering how many hofo members have placed their preorder of the N95 and where and for how much.

I've seen 3 sites which are taking preorders:

mobilecityonline.com $899
mobilebee.com $799
importgsm.com $1299

I've bought 9 phones from x1387 but his price is high in the first initial weeks and the phones are from HK which I do not want this time for a $1k phone.

Amen to that, brother. "The best camera is the one you take with you"

And I almost forgot about the D-pad! It's one of those little things that I've really missed from the past N-series phones. Much, MUCH better than the N73 joystick.

I was saying that there is noone including Jonny will buy when it gets released & I know that Jonny is looking to replace something soon and I am not sure if he is willing to spend >$1000 on it!!

oh! ...well yeah...I wasnt saying to wait until the price drops down to the current N93 prices. If it's available for 900 early on, I say that's a good deal and i'm all over it. Sometimes you have to pay for what you want.

My N73 was Made in Finland but I got it from celluloco.com; very bad service and I never got to exchange my phone. My E50 was also Made in Finland and I got it from an online retailer in Chicago. My N91 was also Made in Finland which I bought from ebay other than that the rests of my phones were the HK models from x1387.
