N95 Map download -- 12 hrs ?!?!?!?!?!?!

I originally downloaded two maps and it said 7hrs. I cancelled that. Than I downloaded just one map and it took 1hr. I don't know why. So, I would recommend just one map at a time.

Now, before I make a mistake. If I understand the above post, if I download a second map, will that erase the map I already downloaded?

If so, then what is the answer. If the above post is correct, then copy the file from the phone to your computer memory, download another map and then copy back the first one. Can anyone confirm.
 
Nice connection (I wish we had FiOS in NYC), but it shouldn't make a real difference if you download 50-150MB on 10mbps or 30mbps they both should take a couple of seconds at maximum speed. However, this program sometimes takes hours. It shouldn't do that on anything but dial-up.
