N95 by Oct 31!!!!

Maybe he's a chain-smoker and a lush??

Anywho...I'm eyeing the N73 for my next purchase because it'll be quite a while until I can afford the N95. I REALLY want one, though!!

Well from what I heard from the Nokia Rep I spoko to. That the EU/ASIA version of the N95 is going to be tri-band 900/1800/1900 UMTS 2100.

While the US version one is Quadband with 1900/850/1800/900/ UMTS 1900.

It doesn't make sense!!

They told me it won't be coming out in the store at all. I don't know if I can wait that long. I'm probably gonna get it as soon as it hits eBay

I held the phone in my hands myself when I visited the store.. They have the prototype.. Both N75 and the N95..

All reps are telling me they will have the US version on the 1st QTR of 2007.

If you ever decide getting it from the ebay or the European/Asian verison ones!

You will not have any support from Nokia USA. Even do they have it! They can tell by the IMEI if its a US version Nokia phone.

So on this phone.. I need the support! Just like what it says on my Signature.

"Great powers comes with Great Responsibilities" I think as soon as this phone comes out! It will have alot of glitches and errors since its so High End!! Its going to be hard to stabilize! By the time it comes out here in the US it probably has a F/W update already.. Which is good! At least it will fix some errors!

This has been discussed several times. For the last time, the N95 is quadband. If you find the post about the Nokia store opening, it goes back and forth but Darla confirms it. It WILL be quadband GSM.

I believe the N95 will be sold (at first) for about 550.00 Euros + Tax. without a Contract. The VAT rate varies in the different EU Countries.
In German Forums I am reading that it is expected to be in the shops in May 2007!

As of now, there is only ONE planned N95 that is quadband GSM(850/900/1800/1900) as well as UMTS 2100. Nokia MAY release a "US" version that also supports 1900 UMTS, but that's speculation as of now. Make sense?

Sounds about right, given that release date estimates are usually wildly optimistic - so from Q1, 2007 we can read Q2, 2007 = April, 2007 (earliest) onwards.
