N95 by Oct 31!!!!

Per NokiaUsa.com the N95 will indeed have the 850 band and edge. Just not North American UMTS capability... so T-mobile and Cingy users can enjoy the goodness..sort of.. I do agree that they will probably not put out a 3G(US) version.. but if yu can stand just having edge.. go for it
 
That's what I was thinking, the sooner the better, since if it was released right now I would wait a little anyway, since I just got the N73 a couple of months ago and don't want to put out $1000 for another phone.

I'm hoping by the time I get it, it will be down to at least $700 or less.

I hope that the battery life of the N95 is almost as good as the N73, as it has the best battery life of any phone I have ever had.
 
I work for T-Mobile, and I saw your post. This would be true 1 year ago, but now Cingular and T-Mobile share the 850 Band throughout the US. But T-Mobile uses the 900 Band in metro areas still. Oh also it's an interesting fact that Nokia builds all the GSM antennas in the US therefor Nokia phones get better reception in theory.
 
are nokias cheaper or more expensive in finland? i heard they were more expensive but, which makes sense because scandanavia has an exceptionally high cost of living, but you would think with it being the home country it would be cheaper, anyone know? my ex gf is finnish and probably coming for a visit sometime during q1 of next year, i would love to have her bring me a n95 straight from the source
 
I called them up a few days back and they said that they are going to get it by the 31st FOR SURE. They also said "we get phones before anyone else!" Will call them Tuesday and see how much water that statement holds.
 
yeah right, bongo claimed they have 904 unlocks before and they claim it was 100% sure and it was FAKE (i am not making this up, go and inquire in the sharp forum). Thank god i didnt make the trip there...
 
I guess we'll know for sure by tomorrow, since I live in Florida, I would buy the phone in person, just like I did the N73 from them, transaction went flawless and I'm sure when the phone gets to the price I can live with, I will go down there and buy it in person as well. (About a 100 mile trip)
 
Youre absolutely right. i got my numbers mixed up in my head. the n95 is a quadband phone so it does have 850. and yes i dont think there will be a different version with us 3g.
 
Lol, no I don't!!! I'm just saying that if both myself and Angel_wing0 have stated when the N95 will be available, as well as the press release, where this October 31st date came from and how many people actually believed that it was written in stone.

BTW Admiral... I miss you!!! We haven't spoken in ages!!!!!
