N95 battery, what do ?

ok the battery is starting to piss me off..... start the day at 8am use maybe 30 minutes max of wi-fi and the battery is 2 bars by 2pm....

now tell me what do you guys do to save the battery

i already have on gsm network only
screen brightness is low


i dont even play games or use the mp3 and still the battery is ******


any tips are welcomed !

I know i am used to the k800i where the battery lasts 3 - 4 days even with heavy use ...

but half-a-day battery is just insane !!

You can start by posting in existing threads, then you can turn Bluetooth off, make sure you're closing applications and not leaving them running in the background, and make sure you're not keeping any connections open, idle or not. Get yourself a car charger, charge it when you're sitting down for a good length of time, and the battery life should start to be pretty impressive.

since I dont play the games or use gps or music they are close and when I am not using the wi-fi I do have the scanning off !!

at first it will be like that, after 4 charge cycles, the battery will get better.

The battery life will get a lot better after 15 or so charge cycles. Don't panick. I was in your same situation.

I'm new to the Nokia smartphone scene, so I don't know if this is gonna sound noob or not, but...does Nokia normally offer Extended batteries? I know my past phones (Samsung and Motorola) both offered extended batteries as an accessory you could purchase. Granted it did add some girth to the battery part of the phone, but they would keep the phone alive for a decent amount of extra time.
