N95-4 Constantly rebooting

I'd be very interested!

An update on my activities: haven't gone to AT&T store to get replacement sim yet--may not have time until next week. Also, phone has not reboot/shut-off since I set it to GSM mode only. Also, I found someone else who had the same problem (mostly shutoff) on E63 that started within last few months--he "fixed" it by using only GSM mode. I will ask him about his version of firmware.

I'm kind of losing hope that a replacement sim will fix problem--especially since you've already tried it. I think the new firmware will be best bet. I will do this as well--but probably won't get around to it until at least next week. I will update when I do.

You are correct that it is the firmware fix that will really address this issue. Also, there's an updated firmware that addresses the same issue on the E63 so let that user know as well when you talk to them.

Update: The phone hasn't restarted even once in the last two days after the firmware update. But, I still don't understand why it wasn't eligible for the latest firmware update when I bought an unlocked phone directly from Amazon.

Unknown. I have no idea why the US specific code of the N95-4 doesn't show up in the update and I really feel for all the people that purchased this device and have a constantly rebooting device with no support from Nokia.
