N93 Why What Where ?? firmware support?

This is so dissapointing - I bought my Grandps a Sharp phone for pennies and he gets phone support and upgrades quite often YET I spen my personal fortune on the N93 and I get shafted with open endless firmware suggestions. On the NOKIA website here it sill says the N93 is not upgradable due to troubles..

16-Nov: Nokia N93 updates are temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. You can still download and install the Nokia Software Updater application to your computer for use with other compatible Nokia products.

**bleep** I mean **bleep** lets quit bull**bleep**ting everywhere on the WEB and ask **bleep**? this is still there why??? no updates even to say SORRY we are working on it.. because they arent the N95 is out and we are lost THATS THE TRUTH.

Yup more guessing and HOPING that the expensive brick we bought might actually be a usefull tool as it seemed in the advertising rants - I just mucked around with the Sharp phone and it eats the N93 for breakfast. All that the N93 has along with Wifi and a great video capability over the sharp is ummmmm and even then the so called features that its bristling with are used when?. Dam I can't believe im sitting here now and thinking of flogging the N93 because the Sharp phone at 1 third of the cost will do just fine WITHOUT crashing .... hmmmmm could sell the N93 and get myself a super camera that will also take video AND fits in your pocket AND will not need recharging everyday. Gawd I think I bought the N93 for the bling thing (it was fun) but ther isnt any Bling just an empty promise.
 
Ahh its not too bad is it? Aside from some lagging here and there my phone does not crash or underperform often. Don't think I've ever actually upgraded the firmware on any of my s60 phones. I guess I just learned to deal with the minor bugs etc.

As for spending a small fortune for a brick, I enjoy the snobbery that comes with owning such a high end device. I take joy at being able to sneer and turn my nose up everytime someone pulls out their chocolate to show off It usually goes like this:

"Wow thats a huge phone!"
"It's man size..."
"Man this thing is awesome"
"I know thats why i got it"
"How much did you pay?"
"Actually thats none of your business... but I assure you, it wasn't cheap" delivered the same exact way as Christian Bale said it in 'American Psycho'
 
Hi all,

I am a more than a little confused by your posts as i have had this update since early December done @ a Nokia Service Centre. But Nokia recently announced that the N93 issues where resolved and that the NSU is back online for the N93 now not sure why you guys aren't getting it. I just checked and it has been available since 6th Feb 2007 this update radically improves both start up speed to just 22 seconds and all apps open quickly plus when going to Laptop/ Landscape mode their is no lag at all it's instant although some users have still had issues mine is running perfectly. Their isn't another device i would swap for at the moment and definitely not the N93i or N95.
OOP'S sorry just noticed these posts where pre 6th Feb, i just hope you are all now with the new firmware and happy N93 users.
