N93: Sharing music from computer using UPnP

Hey guys,

I'm using a Nokia N93 and I'm trying to figure out how to stream music from my computer to my phone using UPnP. My router and network is UPnP enabled. I'm using Rhapsody, which allowing UPnP devices to access the downloaded media files. I've also enabled media sharing my phone along with setting up the phone with my wireless network.

My issue is when I go to the Home Network in the Gallery to look for UPnP media files on my computer, my computer doesn't show up. Can someone please suggest a solution? Thanks in advance.

PS: I've searched for related threads, but couldn't find a satiable result.

Hi, with the UPnp software and N93 it doesn't stream. (download while playing)
It actually copies the file to the desired device so you can play it.

As for software use the recommened Home Media server or windows media player 11

Thanks to both for your responses. abdulzis you have great guide, but there are several issues yours doesn't help with. I must use the Rhapsody software for the UPnP because the files are DRM'd Real audio files, so therefore I can't use WMP11 or the Home Media Server. As with the whole procedure on enabling UPnP on Windows, I'm running Vista, so the menus are not the same, but I've explored the entire components catalog and there is no reference of UPnP, so I'm assuming it is already enabled.

I used to be able to de-DRM the files, but apparently Rhapsody uses Real and not WMA files now, so my DRM-stripper doesn't work.

So is the phone's UPnP browser pretty much limited to just those two software?

Thanks a bunch.
