doing a comparison on nokias website between the n93 and the n90, it says the n93 has an up to 16 million color display, while the n90 is 262k. everywhere else i see this, it says the n93's display is only 262k. which is true?

Nothing strange, it?s the common Nokia issue with wrong specifications

262k of course, but don't worry about anyway, there is no noticeable diffrence.. . .

Hope that helps,

thats what i figured, lol. one more thing. im pretty sure im going to get this phone now but im just curious about the wi-fi. basically, if im sitting at home and want to surf the web on my phone via my home wireless network, i can just detect my wireless connection and connect? if i install opera browser, can i use that as a default browser then with the wi-fi as well as edge if i so choose? what about recieving calls or texts while on wi-fi? i dont have a secure network at home, so would there be a tough set up or just click and connect? ive never used wi-fi on a phone before so if someone can explain the basics ill be all set.

i also cant help but notice how the n93's os looks like my 6131's s40v3. strange. i never liked the way symbian s60 phones looked or operated but this interface seems alot closer to the s40 i think ill like it.

All you do is just open the browser and choose "Search for WLAN" or otherwise you just select your WiFi access point if you've already configured it and it will connect with ease. Even if its secured, it will ask you to enter the security key. Otherwise, its as easy as selecting your wlan network from the given ONE NETWORK that it finds

It's not always that easy! If your network is open..ofcourse it will be a matter of search for wlan and connect. (but an open network like that is unsecure and not recommended, as others can use your connection to get online and do other bad stuff)

If you have a secure network it will take some time setting it up...and as I found out, not always that easy.

while browsing in wi-fi, the phone will still take calls and messages just like when i use gprs right? also, i will be able to install opera browser as well and make it my default browser with no issues?
