N93 or N73

Now, I have always wanted a Nokia N93.

But the problem is that Cingular is my carrier, so I have always just planned on getting the N73 instead of it since it is quad-band and pretty much the same features. I have always been curious to put the 850mhz debate to the test and pick up a 93 to use with my carrier (Cingular) and see how it is, with just selling it if I was not happy with the performance. I have been messaging various forum members who have commented on using a 93 with Cingular, and one in particular said the only issue is it being slow with the data connection. I can't decide if that is going to be a problem for me since i would hardly be surfing the web, and just using the gmail app on it which would work fine with EDGE speeds I imagine. He is actually wanting to sell his phone, for $400. Kept in a case and is in great shape (although I have not seen pics yet, great price though) which makes it very tempting to give it a shot, and just re sell for an N73 if not satisfied. I know the N73 would be the ideal choice in this situation, but I just LOVE the 93's design. Does anyone think its worth giving the 93 a shot or should I just go straight to the 73? Are there other things that I have not thought about, but would want to do with a 93 that the slow data connection would be an issue with?
 
i use a n93i in canada where it's uses 850 and 1900 and i have no problem with checking emails and drop calls issues.

orginally i was worried about not having the 850 band but it's really pointless i'd would go for the n93 just for the wifi + more memory + you never know when you need a camcorder. the n73 is nice if you just plan to listen to music and rack up a huge data bill.
 
appreciate the feedback, when you say racking up a huge data bill...do you just mean from buying music? Because I wont be doing that at all. I really want a 93 but couldnt justify getting one when there is the 73, so I have already bought a case for a 73. If anyone from Florida that has used a 93 with cingular please let me know what its like, or anyone else that uses a 93 with cingular for that matter.
 
racking up a bill from surfing the net using edge. not sure if you can use the 3g on the phone in north america.

well the n73 is probaley the best cam you can get on a symbian phone but too bad there no wifi the n93 is the best camcorder phone with wi-fi the pic are ok sometimes they come out too grainy and you need good lighting because the flash is too underpowered
 
well, sincerely i would very much prefer the N73.If music,is your thing,it's got it in stereo,if camera,you mize well make it a profession.Though the n73 has pretty same features as the n93,they probably just will do the same basic jobs ,call text,photo/video shoot, whatever.But when it comes to pricing,i don't think it worth it putting so much money on N93 when you can always be content using the n73 too.
Really,it's up to you.
 
Yeah, I chose to buy the 93 for $400 and see how it is. If im not happy with the Tri-band performance ill just resell and grab an n73
