N93 getting slowwww

My N93 worked great when I got it. Then after a few weeks it got slower and slower. At one point it was slower than my cousins old 6600. So what I did was that I formatted the entire phone memory and memory card and things were back to normal. After that I didn't even install anything to the phone and kept no data on my memory card. The phone was as good as new and now again its getting slower and its so slow I have to wait 5-6 seconds for the menus in Messaging to open. This slowness is mainly in messages.

I hardly have 50 messages in my inbox and around 50 in my sent box. But even if I delete them it will still be the same. If I hard reset my phone, everything will be good again but it will be for the time being only.

Please help me out with this one.

P.S: Is there any way to backup the words that I added to the dictionary in 'Messaging' ?

Check my signature for a small applet for your phone to speed up your text messages again. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

Oh no, I have that installed. It's still SUPER laggy Even when I click the OPTIONS menu I have to wait for 5-6 seconds at times. HELP

EDIT: I'm running firmware v11.0.0.34

Maybe you're saving your sms' in the memory card instead of the phone memory? I'm not sure if this can cause any lag, but it's a possibility I guess...

No, my messages are storied in Phone memory.

And yes, memory card saving does cause lags.

But this is an ENORMOUS lag

Here's my solutions:
1: Try Flashing the firmware. (at least get a v11.0.0.34)
2: If prob still persist, try to change your miniSD. (get a faster one like mine )
3: Your SMS should not exceed 50. (trust me, SMS matters. It destroyed my old N3660)

If none of the above work, try to ask NOKIA and claim your warranty.
