N91!

The hard part about the display I have found is find wallpapers really and it's not high on my list, the resolution though is amazing. I compared it against a Samsung a900, Treo 650, PPC-6700, and Razr and it was much more detailed the screen does take up the majority of the phone. But I can see why it probably is smaller due to putting the HD in there (at least I think thats why).

What are you talking about? I have all the dragon ball z series...1-42

the last 2 is above my 8801, i put those books there because i dont have space anymore

what about everyday scratches and pocketscuffs? i assume they don't care about that...

by the way.. do you know what happens to old protos? i wonder if they are stored in some nokia proto graveyard room in europe.. that would be so cool to see.

lol you make it soo simple buddy...if only it were so simple...what happened to nokia's branding of "multimedia computers", the only advantage i see in the N80 is the display...and I just want to find out whether the lower end display on the N91 is ganna have any sort of major impact on the functionality. After all the display is used in everything.

Congratulations on getting N91 to both of you. That phone is great idea and I would love the 4GB of space on a phone. However, I decided to skip it and go for the N80 instead. I think that it is a better overall compromise. Yeah, it doesn't have the 4GB of storage but I already received my 2 GB miniSD card and it solves the screen resolution issue you guys talk about. Also, while the N80 doesn't have the A2DP profile, it does have a 3MP camera with flash. I probably wouldn't get bluetooth stereo headset anyway since I am a bit of a sound fanatic and don't think that there are any available that would come close in quality to the wired headset I use these days. There is also the question of battery drain when using bluetooth heaset - how is that in your experience by the way? Not that I expect a great battery life of the N80 mind you. I just want to clarify that I'm not bashing the N91 here - I think it is a great phone (I do like the looks of it too) and I would love to have one as well. Given the choice though, I choose N80 for better rounded overall set of specs. Kudos to you two though on getting the N91 and thank you for sharing your impressions of it with us. Much appreciated.

^ not a problem it's your opinion and feel free to express it. But if u are getting a nokia phone because of its camera, it will be a bad choice. If you are really after the camera go get a sharp 90x or the upcoming nokia n93. Much much better quality with optical zoom, at least that is for the sharp 903sh

850!? We don't need no stinkin' 850...HELL YEAH!

Nokia itself calls it its "premier music player phone" so how can you say it is not leaning heavier on the music player functionality? I also did say that, while it does focus more towards its music functionality, it is still a good smartphone / "convergent device" - I'm not arguing that and I agree with you here. Please read my posts in their entirety and understand them before "jumping the gun" with your responses - I spend some time on writing them and try to express myself carefully. And what's with this comment of yours: " If you have ever owned a smartphone you would know the option of installing on the card or phone."? I've owned and used Series60 smartphone since Nokia 3650 was available in US (got it a few months before it came to T-Mobile) - that's probably 3 years or so. Frankly, I'm a bit offended by that comment. I get a lot out of my 6620 and consider myself a power user.

anyone got any idea how I can view YouTube Files into my N91 ?? I downloaded the YouTube file via www.keepvid.com

and I changed the Extension to .swf

and it says File Corrupted or something.

help?

I find that is freezes the most when it's on the charger and I get a text, call, or alarm goes off. But other then that it seems fine now.

Nope, not just the camera. Why do you think that camera is the most important thing for me here? I simply said that N80's camera is better than the one in the N91. I also said that it has the best (for me of course) overall rounded set of specs. I wouldn't want a non-smartphone no matter how good the camera was on it. I still do like the N91 and I just want to stress again that I'm not putting it down here - I'm simply saying that I prefer the N80 because for me it has the best combination of features (not just the best one particular feature but the best combination of good enough features).
