n73 hands down. a killer camera, lots of apps to choose from and the phone looks good. plus with the ability to upgrade to 4 gigs with the memory card like the n70, music and pics are endless.
I'm now convinced that every person on HoFo is under 28 years old. I always thought I was talking to a completely mixed crowd of users, but now I honestly think there are only a small handful that wouldn't call young. Wow.
I've had N91 and now i own N80. If N91 at least had a QVGA screen I would've chosen to keep it. I love the design. It looks much more unique than N80 and has a better built. N80 has a much better screen, can't even compare. N80 has a better camera but the video recording is better on N91. The battery life sucks on N80, which most people already know. I've never seen N73, besides photos of course. I'm not too crazy about it's design. I like the front but the back looks like a toy camera to me. I have to hold it though to confirm my opinion.
I just received my N80 this afternoon and I am quite impressed. Battery life does seem to deplete pretty fast if I'm on wifi. It's not really a problem for me, since I put the phone on the charger every night, and I also keep a spare charger at work should the need to use it arise.
I havne't used an N73 first hand, so I can't really make a comparison.
Well I've had my N91 about 2 months now and it's been rock solid, only once I can remember it reseting itself. Having said that though, its just gone back to Nokia for repair as the hard disk failed
+ / - of them:
N91 + HDD / Wi-Fi / inox box - Battery life, weight, screen size and resolution
N80 + Wi-Fi / size / screen - Battery life, even worst then N91, camera
N73 + Camera / Battery life / Size / Screen / construction - Wi-Fi
Any one is the perfect one, as usual. Choose for You. For me the best of three is N73, then N91 and the last one N80 (withouth battery what is the use of a phone?).
can someone with both the N80 and N73 please take a picture of both phones, side by side, same theme, with the SMS creation screen and like, half a sentence or so typed out?? One problem I have with my N80 is the font isn't bold enough to really see when typing and driving or whatever. I used to could easily do this with my 6682 but the hi-res presents a problem.
i like nokia n93 for it has arm 330 mhz cpu, it's damm fast, pretty it does't have a hdd,
and i have to format my 4gb mini sd into 2*2gb, still work well, it's heavy enough to be a self-defence tool- joking-but like n91 and n80 it's heavy i got n93,and like it very much, as i must have wifi...i got 2 spare battery, to go through a day, camera drains the battery, dvd quality? na, it's not that good.
i'm in the same boat but after reading and reading
i come to final conclusion
N73 all the way
i think N73 won the other 2
only If N73 have Wifi it would come to almost "perfect" phone
but now there is another question
Nokia N73 Vs Qtek 8310(ImateSP5)
the Qtek is also candy bar style with all the feature like : quardband, WIFI and a 1150 mAh battery
so now i don't know which one should i get Qtek 8310 or N73
someone give me pro and con of this 2 phones plz
Now that the price has come down, I decided it's time. Having owned the N80 and played with the N91, here's why.
No N91 because of the lower res screen, problems with the HDD, slow transfer over the USB cable since that's the only way to transfer items, and only okay camera.
No N80 because the battery life is so bad that I'd need a spare for it to survive my usage. The video was also so flawed that I would've rather gone back to my N70 than deal with it. I'm hoping the N73 doesn't have the same flawed video, otherwise it'll be on eBay as fast as I bought it. The camera also blurred all of my pictures, no matter how still I was standing or how long I waited after I pressed the capture button.
N73 for the battery life, quad-band reception, stereo speakers, autofocus, and larger screen.
You should- it's safe to state that 23 is generally considered to be a young adult by most folks yardstick of measure. Hopefully you are not offended either. I look at it from another perspective too- you (young) guys are lucky to be exposed to all the great technologies, toys & electronics that I never had when I was that age (& younger)! There's a lot of great things to learn with all the various avenues of information. Heck, I barely made it through college as it stands w/ a lot less potential distractions .
I'd oblige with that pic, but I sold my N73 after having it a week. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I like the N80 more, but even that has it's faults. And I was an early adopter, too. I'm on an anti-candybar kick of late (might break down for the K790), preferring the flips more now. The CU500 has been really nice (3G is the future), and I'm waiting on those SE's (Z710/W710) to hit soon.
