N90 - Any way to get to contacts w/o opening clamshell?

I often use a bluetooth connection, is there any way i can just get to my contacts on the smaller outside screen and dial that way? i hate having to flip open the phone, go to contacts, dial out, then close the clamshell.
 
Wow, way to be a an ***, congrats on that.

@OP: I've never owned an N90, but I believe there is a way to pull them up on the external LCD, as well as sms and whatnot (at least that's what I thought I remember seeing on it)... someone with more experience with it might be able to help you with that.

I dont think its possible. The best you can do is use voice dial by holding down the camera button.
Usually with a bluetooth headset, you hold down the answer button to activate the voice dial.

However, I HATE voice dial. It never understands me and will call Santa Clause if I want to call Mr Belvedere.
 
Cool, hey I noticed you had an N90 and an HS-26W
I can't seem to get my N90 to sync w/ my HS-26W, did you have any problems?
the N90 syncs w/ all my other bluetooth devices.
 
SMS yes, but contacts not that I've ever seen. I was pretty thankful that you could read SMS on the outer screen when I used it everyday. Voice dialing is the best option for closed usage of that phone. It will dial to speaker automatically.
 
Never had any problems connecting my HS26W with the N90.
All I can recommend is to read the manual. Maybe if you reset the HS-26W it'll help
 
Yeah between an N90, N93, and N95, I feel the N90 has the absolute best build quality and the best display by far. The N90 is the most solid phone I've had. No creaks, or flexes anywhere on that thing.
