Recently my n86 keep popping a message showing "memory low. please delete or move some files from C: phone memory"
most of my apps are installed in e:mass memory and when i go to file manager to see what I can delete, its showing that I have 33mb in other files but i have no idea where they are.

anyone know where and how i can get access to the "other" files?

are you saving your emails to the C: drive? Go to Messaging>Options>Settings>Other make sure your "memory in use" is not set to C: (phone memory)

Remember that each time you connect your phone to the PC via USB cable, the phone will revert back to saving messages on your C: memory. Its one thing I wish Nokia would fix.

if you use any of the emails program (nokia messaging, emoze, etc.), unfortunately they will only write to C: even if you move the messaging storage option. To make things worse, no matter what you do (removing the program, deleting the mailbox, etc), won't get the memory back :(

I have the same problem as you and my only solution is everytime my C: memory goes down below 10MB...I have to do a reset, restore some data from backup, reload softwares and re-configure most of the softwares again :(
PIA...but, I haven't heard any other solution

if anyone has any solution to this...I would love to hear it too.
