N80ie camera flash- turn it off?

Just picked up my N80 and I cant make the camera take pics or record video without the flash bulb going off (camera) or staying on (video). Is there any way around this or do I just have to deal with it? Slider already feels loose =( Still getting used to the phone but so far so good. Thanks for the help

Never found a way to stop the light coming on. I guess its so that you cant take those "dodgey" pictures without the other person knowing!!

yeah i figured so, is there a way to save flash settings so i dont have to turn off flash everytime i turn on the camera?

If there is, I don't know about it. I too wish it had some type of way to save the settings, especially when you can create your own "user" options. It is one of those little things that is annoying about S60 -
