N80 - yay or nay?

I will be taking photos with it, don't get be wrong. It's just that I don't care about 3.2MP versus 5MP (on the N95)

Media capability-wise - I will be loading the phone up, but it won't be my main player

How much training does the battery need?

You will definitely need a spare battery. There's no way around it if you actually plan on USING the device. Anybody that has said they can get through a day of battery life also said they only used it for no more than 20 minutes or so doing small things like texting, a little wifi, and a couple short phone calls. My experience was the same.

I just got an N80 for work (I review phones for a website).

It's a BRICK! So big and thick! And the camera isn't autofocus, which I really just can't understand. It takes very good images when held supersteady (for 2 seconds as someone pointed out early in this thread), but also takes blurry images when I'm not careful.

I just don't get it ... Why build so many features into the phone to make it a multimedia powerhouse, but make the camera manual focus? So frustrating!

I love the OS & UI, the media player and screen are great, WiFi works fine tho honestly I couldn't care less about it (personally) ... But it's so bulky and the darn manual focus.

I think I'm trying an N73 or K790a next ...

The camera isn?t autofocus because the n73 has autofocus...
From a business point of view it makes perfect sense to sell the n80 without neither the autofucus nor the carl seisz lens

All that nokia (as well as sony ericsson) are doing its "specializing" their lineup more and more, so that no handset has the upper hand (being an exception the n93, but the price of that one it?s over 600 EU and it doesn?t has 850MHz so it?s in a whole other leage)

Why would people get the n73 if the n80 offered the same specs PLUS wifi???

cheers

Maybe their saving it for a future N73i

Trying to test the market on what can they improved!!

Since WLAN is Highly Voted on the N73.. They might make a N73i..

You never know with these Nokia people!!

See people were demanding for a N73 focused on music.. Nokia puts out N73 ME.

Maybe its actually the same with WLAN..

N73i Internet Edition

I by no means would consider the N95 final. In fact judging by the slew of new features I am willing to guess that this will be a fairly buggy phone at first. Granted thats part of the development cycle, but I wouldn't call it a final product by any means.
