n80 Time and date issues

My N80 has been acting up lately. I live in hamilton, Ontario and I have my time and set to autoupdate. Every thing works fine until I start to drive and leave Hamilton. As soon as i get in to Burlington which is only 15 minutes away the time and date change to the day before. I dont understand why this does this, and also every time I turn the phone off and then back on again I have to reset the time and date as that is the first boot up screen I get. This never used to happen but is happening now.

Any Ideas??
 
ok I have turned the auto update feature off and seems to be working fine now. The only problem I still get is when I turn the phone off and then on again it prompts me for the time and date to be set. Doesn't the phone keep this in memory?
 
my phone was doing that too.. it had worked fine, then one day the time messed up. I had it on army time, and it added 10 hours to my time. 6am = 1600, 10am = 2000!

I put it on manual time for about 3 or 4 days (and restarted it a couple times too) then switched it back and it was fine.

maybe this experience can help you.
 
Autoupdate allows it to sync with the Operator's time, which is more precise than setting your own time. The problems you are experiencing happens from time to time when moving around to different places. Just turn off autoupdate and turn it back on and the time should be working properly.
