N80 New Firmware Available

nothing yet... imo, I think ver. 4 has addressed MANY problems the phone was having. The battery life that ppl complain abt is the same in almost all the s60 phones i've used (3650, 6600, 6260, 6680, n93, n80, n90, i could go on....)

I JUST got the N80 and I have the latest ver. available... It seems like when opening programs it is slow... I'll open "app manager" and to remove programs it takes a while. It just freezes for like 15 seconds and then resumes... That's what I'm looking for to improve. I know the batt life sucks, but what can you expect with a phone that has everything including wifi, so I'm not complaining about that (just grab a 2nd charger and car charger and you're good).

yeah, progs are slow on s60... But i think thats more of a proccessor thing unless they can manage the memory a little better w/ a new firmware...

BTW... How's the UMA working? I'm supposed to be getting a 6136 sometime soon

I have the same problem. I reflashed through NSU and I still have no profile listed in dev manager... can anyone tell me the settings from their phone so I can add it in manually?

I don't think so. I am in the US as well, and I am able to access FOTA

MENU > CONNECT > DEV MNG > OPTIONS > CHECK FOR UPDATES
Then it will ask you how to connect. I am with Cingular(and did not have Wifi avail at the time) so I used MediaNET.

The FOTA addition to the Device Manager is Phone Region Variant. I didn't get the update for my phone's region. Hopefully, another firmware update will install it.

See, when I go to device manager, there's nothing there at all. Whenever I press options all i have is "new server profile, help, and exit".
Also, I had v.05(Slavic languages) firmware on the phone before, but when I did the flash I got the firmware with Chinese language in it. Is there any way to get a specific one that I want without doing it through Phoenix (which i'm not doing again)?
