N80, N91, E60...pocketable??

wifi should be the same, but be weary that the n80 battery life is terrible...if u are getting it make sure u buy 2-3 batteries extra, especially if u are a HEAVY surfer

aww, it's THAT bad?? and whats the diff between the n80IE and regular version n80? (edit: nevermind I googled it)

such a hard decision, I think I'm just gonna sell all my phones and stick to writing letters

ok ok that's pretty decent. Isnt the N80IE basically the same as the regular N80 except for some extra software or somethin? Just wanna make sure I'd get simliar batt life on the N80. I've tracked down a couple month old one (N80, silver) that was kept in a case the entire time, comes with 1gb card, and is in excellent working condition for $375 shipped, might have to jump on this

For additional $75(including shipping) you would get a brand new one at nokiausa.com . This will give you one year warranty!

I would go with a new one as it most likely will have the latest FW. N80ie has more internet capabilities like voip, yahoo go etc., than the regular n80.

EDIT: Actually $125 more my bad

Please don't confuse the amount of internal memory to the amount of RAM. After bootup, the E61 has just as much available RAM as the N80. Therefore, you'll get 'memory full' messages at the same frequency as which you get them on the N80.

I don't know exactly how much of RAM these phones have. But with E61 I never got out of memory messages for my kinda browsing.

EDIT:
Read this article: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/Why_the_penny-pinching_over_RAM.php

It talks about N series RAM. E61 is not there but I found somewhere that it has about 46MB memory that is accessable.

no not necessarily, there are cheap N series phones out there
BTW, if the N80ie is just the N80 with a few more internet features can the firmware on a regular N80 be upgraded to N80ie?

;8553156']I hope this hasnt already been mentioned, but the pictures you see of the N80 online are very deceiving; the phone is not as thick as it looks. When I first received mine, I was shocked as to how small (pocketable) it was.
