N80 and DST issue?

So just exactly how does the N80 cope with the DST changes that go into effect come March 11?

Specifically what will you observe WRT to appointments in the calendar application?

At the moment I show Time zone as GMT-6.00 Chicago, IL

What is going to govern that changing to GMT-5.00 come 2AM March 11?

probably nothing, u got to change it yourself or wait for the new fw.

Set time zone to Local Time and tick for operator time in tools>settings>date and time
It should change automatically.

i try to keep all my clocks as accurate as possible versus a few mins off from the network..

In Toronto, using the operator time doesn't fix the calendar synch issues for my E61. Nokia had a "Nokia Time Zone Upgrader" to download to patch all the N series and E series phones but then pulled down the upgraders for the E series phones. I have downloaded the N series upgrader for my E61 and the synch issues have been resolved. You also need to have the appropriate patches installed on your Outlook Server and Outlook itself. The upgrader for the N80 can be obtained from http://europe.nokia.com/A4149142. Don't forget to restart the phone after installing the upgrader to get it to take effect.
