N80: A Spy Phone??

This is a funny question but since I've never owned an N80 yet, I'm wondering if the N80's flash turns on when you record a video? Anyway to turn it off? And does it make a beep sound when activated?

I am very interested to know if the firmware makes a difference. I know with the N73 it did..and I hated it.

Anyone with an N80 please comment, thanks
 
With all the firmwares I've had including the internet edition firmware the phone has beeped when you start to record video no matter what profile. No flash though -at least not on this firmware.
 
You going to be looking at two options with firmware: you'll either get a Euro firmware with no sounds from the camera in silent mode, or an Asian firmware where you can't silence the camera under any profile due to laws in those countries regarding the exact thing you're asking about. This is true on all phones from Nokia, not just the N73. No matter what though, you will always get the tiny video flash. There's just no way around it.
