It looks like Datavis has the N75 listed for $379.99

I am trying to decide between the N95 and N75. I read somewhere that downloads on the N75 will be restricted to Cingular partner sites? Would this be true for an unlocked phone also?

Just made my choice harder, i already got the n95, but i was thinking of getting the iphone. With the n75 released, its between that and the iphone. Kind of a hard choice considering they both have their ups and downs.

not saying the iphone in its own right is better than the n75, but what would the n75 offer over the iphone that wouldn't be duplicated in the N95. I mean .. I guess that is cool if you want to make sure everything carries over from phone to phone, but if they are serving completely different functions (except for phone calls) why would you get a device with the same general functionality (n75) but inferior implementation (2mp non auto focus cam, cingular firmware, no GPS, smaller screen (I think), etc.)

I think it's best to take a "wait and see" approach with the iPhone since we basically don't know anything about how it functions as a phone other then listening to Steve Job's kool-aid.

Anyone who has touched one is sworn to secrecy. We don't know how well multi-touch works for quick typing, we don't know how bad smudges will be, we basically know nothing other then the crumbs Apple tossed at us.

If it has American 3G and you're on cingular... go for it. EDGE is only 100kbps for me even if it's in the 300kbps range, that's night and day when it comes to tethering.

The N75 has US 3G, something the iPhone and the N95 lack.

Edit: Wait! Datavision?! You mean ecollect?! Good luck with that one. Wait til it's up on Nokia's website, if it isn't already.

Manchuia, well, for many people money matters too N75 is expected to be about $200 with 2y contract, iPhone $500, and N95 is not available on contract but retailing right now at about, what $750?
