What responses have you gotten about the release of the N75 with cingular?

I've gotten:
-Phone is available in europe, not sure if coming to states or cingular (nokia rep at mall)
-Phone will be released before thanksgiving (Cingular)
-Phone will come out early next year (Cingular)
-Just in time for the holidays (Cingular store)
-Late 2006 (Phonescoop)
-Available (Good seller on ebay)
-End of November (local Cell Tech store)

What about anyone else interested in this phone?

Possibly by gathering all responses into one thread, we can get a better idea on when the phone is officially expected.

Thanks.

the last rumor was that it would be out by Black Friday, which is a week from this Friday (11/24). Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year. However, cell phones are not usually marked down for BF (this year there is a RZR from VZN for 19.99 - bleh), so take that with a grain of salt.

I was looking last night at Premier on Cingular and I can get the A707 for 36.00, but I'd really rather have the N75 (well, N73, but I can't afford that much, so . . . ).

Ya'll, I gave up waiting. I ordered the A707 today. If the N75 comes in the next 30 days I can exchange for it, but I am going to Vegas on vacation next month . . . lol . . . so I think I will save my money (and just wait for the big one, the N95).

I too am patiently awaiting the N75. My big factor was that I wanted an S60 phone capable of 3G in the USA. And well folks this is the only one in the pipe ... well that and I happen to think it's a really cool looking and capable phone At any rate, Cingular ... if you're listening ... bring it on!

if am not mistaken n75 aint comin out in europe if u go to the european website of nokia u will find out that its not even there, but if it will be released in europe it will be like 3 4 month after the release date in the usa

I hate to say it (because I really think this will be a nice phone), but I think the lack of HSDPA might make Cingular pass on it. Since they discontinued the Samsung ZX-10 and LG CU320, all the 3G models that they have released are HSDPA. There was talk of an OS 9.2 (HSDPA) version of this phone coming out around May.

If Cingular does decide to pass on it, hopefully Nokia will still release the phone from their website and retail stores unlocked/unbranded.
