N73 w/ Cingular in NYC...

"Smartphone Connect"?? I don't see that as an optional feature. Only "Laptop Connect".

Edit: So I just read Rcadden's post on how Cingular does business regarding "Smartphone Connect". The only thing I can think of is that I don't have "Smartphone Connect" as an optional feature because I don't have a "smartphone". *duh* Cingular has me using a Nokia 6682. Just get the Media Max 1000 bundle, a free phone and call it a day. "Smartphone Connect" is just another way for Cingular to get more of your money.

I'm not sure when I signed up for my data deal but I get Unlimited internet and 5000 sms/mms (5000 total between the 2) messages a month for $19.99. My plan is also bundled in with 17 other phones under the same account so perhaps they cut us a break but for 20 bucks you cant beat that deal IMO.

I might have to grab an N73 again and give it a second try. I had one when it first came out. Has the newest fw fixed the clicking/popping noises heard when on a call? I had the same issue with my 6131.

I don't have them side by side for comparison (or field test for that matter), but the RF on the N73, E70-2, and N80 seems pretty close, i.e., typical great Nokia.

I have version:

V3.0638.0.0.1
30-10-2006
RM-133
Nokia N73 (01)

It has awesome RF and no clicking/popping noises that I've ever noticed.

HTH.
