N73 'On hold' and 'waiting'

Hey there......i had an N73 which is lost ......but oneof the things i miss was when i had somone put me on hold, I would get a little mssg on my phone saying 'ON HOLD' and when i called someone if they were on another call it would say 'Waiting" with a beep for a sec on my screen display.........is this a Sim/ Network issuse or a firmware issue? I have V 3.0638,0,0,1.........not sure what to do and how to get that back??.......appreciate any help/ inputs......

No, it's not issue or anything. You can't rid of it.. Those msg are operator supported, and they are on every modern Nokia and other phones. But some older phones don't show those messages. I also think that in some situations it's not comfortable. Other person shouldn't be allowed to see that you're talking to some one.

Well I used to have it and now its gone.......guess its network supported!!! I would really like to have it back!!!!
