n73 nokia mobile search dosent work after firmware uppgrade!

after uppdating the n73 firmware to (V3.0638.0.0.130-10 - 2006RM-133) using the nokia uppdating program, i cant get the "nokia Mobile Search v2.13, Package 3" application to work.
i worked fine before the uppdate, i get no sort of error messeges when i try to start it, it just refuses to start!.
I have formated the memory card and the phone memory, and installed it again but to no use.
Is there somebody out there with the same problem? or does somebody have a solution?
 
Is it freezing in that screeen that shows the world and a progress bar? I'm pretty sure it started crashing on me before I upgraded the firmware, maybe they took down the search server or something.

strange, bc my nokia search app works just fine after the fw update. the nokia search version that loaded up was the pre-windows live one. however, it immediately prompted me to install the live search plug in.
 
I went to the mobile search website and d/l it again on my phone and it still doesn't work. Since it's an app, can you save it to your pc and email it to us?
 
its actually preloaded on my phone memory and is version 2.12 beta w/ option to install windows live.

if you tell me how to extract it from the phone mem ill be glad to help (tried looking for it w/ ybrowswer but no luck). maybe i need to look using the mass storage mode?

quick question for you: im assuming mobile search was not preloaded on your n73s? have you tried searching for older versions on the web?
 
It was pre-loaded with the phone but after I did a hard reset it was deleted. Another hofo member emailed me his saved copy and I was able to d/l back onto my phone. I'm not sure how he extracted the app or if he did.
I just check my version and it is 2.13.

But thank you for even considering, greatly appreciated.
