hello everybody just got myself a brand new spanking n73me.feels great.have installed smartmovie player.it plays avi files which i have in my videos folder,but when someone bluetooths me a avi file it does not locate the file in my inbox folder.if i try to save the file it says unknown file format.i know it will play if i get that file from my inbox to my videos folder but how???pls help.thanks in advance

files need to be convert before they can play on smartmovies~ unless your friends' movie are played by smartmovies as well, they wont work~

ya they are for smart movies.when i try to open it to save it it says file unknown.direct save option is not there.if i could just cut n paste.....sighn.dont know what to do.sorry i am a first time user of s60.we both have smartmovie installed.
It's better to have your buddy email it to you or something similar. There's a glitch if you'll call it that to the inbox of these phones when it comes to such situations. The phone sees a movie-like file as an attachment and automatically tries to open it with the default player. Since the default player is Real Player and doesn't work properly with SmartMovie files, it says there is an error, and thus you can't save it. If he emails the file to you as an attachment (if it's small enough) you can save it without having to open it in whichever folder you'd like.
