N73 ME Application Installer PROBLEM

K heres the problem i installed a couple themes, and saved them to the memory card. When i try to apply these themes some of them are missing. Also in application mgr i cant find the installed themes, only if i view installed logs. What is going on, where can i locate the installed themes?? And where i can view them on the memory card?? Thakyou

Also, are you sure that the themes are capatable with the phone? Once and while I'll come across a theme that isn't and it doesn't install. However, you have to be watching the screen to get the message while the installation is in progress.
 
There's been a number of people with this problem lately, and I'm seeing a common thread: installing to the memory card. Don't do this with themes. Why? Because themes are CONSTANTLY being accessed, to be displayed. Therefore, using a theme that's stored on your memory card eliminates the possibility to use your phone in mass storage mode, and also creates problems if and when you remove the card. Also, it's MUCH quicker for the phone to access the internal memory than it is to access the memory card, so storing your themes on the phone's memory will speed your device up a bit, as well.

One more question there is one theme i have installed on my phone, NOT memory card. It appears under themes, but not not under application mgr, any idea where i can find that, tried a similar thing as the link above but coudlnt figure it out? thnx
 
Really reallly frustrating, b/c now i cant install those themes again. It goes through the process and right after it reached 100% an ERROR msg reading "unable to install!". NOW WHAT could it b, thankyou?
 
I've had that too. Even when the theme is supposed to be S60v3 compatable. I guess that's just the luck of the draw.
