N73 : Main Camera Take While to Boot Up

Hey guys, lately my phone takes awhile to boot when i open my lens for my main camera, then when i take a pic , it goes back to the main screen then goes back again when i have taken the photos, i don't know its memory card error or what plz help

I'm having the same problem with the camera going back to the main screen can't work out whether its hardware or software related problem. So I'd also appreciate any help or comments on this.

Mine is a normal N73 running the latest ME software.

fix the problem, removed the back cover removed the battery , then turned my phone back on, now its working probably again wahoo

it might be to restart as chel did but it could be because your running n73 me fw

Not sure how this would make any difference because as far as I am aware there is no difference in hardware between the N73 and N73 ME.

I wouldn't be suprised if it was something to do with the camera shutter mechanism but its difficult to tell.

my girlfriend have the same problem on her n73, try to update the firmware

Already updated my ME firmware with the latest version - V3.0649.0.0.31

Have any of you changed the housings on your N73s?

If you don't tighten the screws enough then when you take a picture your thumb(or any finger) on the BOTTOM of the phone (opposite the camera button) will press on the frame enough to dislocate the contacts and make the phone think that the slide has closed.

This will make the phone jump quickly to the main screen and then back to the camera after you release the button.
