I think by not getting an answer you got your answer after all. Unless you know a dealer on the inside track and he/she are willing to make certain you get a finnish made handset, then it's luck of the draw.

Germany is 2nd to Finland in built quality..

You guys remember the nightmare of the 6270? There was no Finland Made ones.

Or there was.. But I've never seen one..

The best ones were the Made in Germany..

yip there were made in finlands 6270 afaik, i have seen ppl use it but VERY rare. But 100% the made by nokia 6270 are TERRIBLE.

My 7610, 6280 and N73 were all made in Finland. However, the 6230i was not. It was made in Hungary. The location where the phone is made depends on the whether the phone is consider to be a higher-end phone and which country (or version) you are buying from. Higher-end phones tend to be made in Finland. Also, from past experiences most UK versions are made in Finland. There is no guarantee and you just have to gamble. You can try www.expansys.com but be careful because they sell many different versions. If it is not a UK (or maybe even an EU) verison, there is a good chance that it is made by other countries outside of Finland. Their service is ok but they might not return emails on whether the phone is made in Finland. Good luck!
