N73 & E61 are sold off, I am down to the 5500, what to get next???

ok, so i just realize that i really need a non-camera smartphone and i need to stick to the S60 UI, coz by sticking to the S60 UI, the learning curve will be very short once i got my hands on the E90 and no matter what, i think i will get the E90 as soon as it is available and if and only if i can already afford it...

and so, i am down to the following choices... E50, n-gage qd and original n-gage, these S60 devices are the cheapest at the moment...

i have to remove the E60, coz i want to save the money for the E90 and i think those 4 (E50, E60, n-gage and n-gage qd) are the only S60 devices that are without cam...

I'm thinking the extra time will be a good thing. I remember the N80 coming out much sooner and it had perhaps the worst launch firmware ever. I don't even know if their were beta testers for the N80. I'd rather them delay the launch and give us workable firmware when it launches than ruin the N95's name with unbearably buggy software.

So far the bloggers that got the protos seem to have some positive reviews of the SW's stability. Even Angel admits it's been much better after the initial update. Again, we're not even sure he's running the most current FW either. I think mid-March is a possibility and everything seems to be pointing towards that. That still puts us deep into April for this things price to come back down to earth. I'm hoping in that time the E90 doesnt start popping up or i'm going to certainly miss the N95 train....and Id ont want to..i've waited this long but buying both is foolish and impossible right now.

I've been extremely happy with my E50 and I've come from using most of the v3's available. It's got a pretty screen even though it's small and it's the best feeling s60 out there. Great back up when the N95 comes out as well and even better back up for the big E90. I'm sticking with this phone as I've been waiting for the symbian equivalent of the 6230 for quite some time. That's been my main backup phone for years when I knew I was going to be getting dirty and dusty. It's been a trooper but not having s60 in my pocket is just a big no no in my book.

@rupolu, there are variants of the phone which don't have a camera.

@friedbrains, I know your brains are certainly fried, but I didn't know you forgot the differences between left and right. Last time I checked, left is < and right is >, as opposed to your description of the backsides of your three phones. You did get the centered phone description though.

Why can't you remove the silver tab? It looks like it's under the screen protector, the same way all of the silver tabs have been?
