Or what would my choices be. It's a pretty nice paper weight, but I want to fix it. I was just doing a file transfer, and was done. Turned it off, turned it back on later on and it doesn't turn on.

What to do?

bongo would be your best option. Since we dont even know what went wrong with your phone...and no there is no nokia canada warranty.

Well, I'm not going to give $25 to someone who's going to tell me in the end "it's broken" Same thing they did with my W900 when I told them the flex cable is damaged, can you fix it, they said yes, took $25 and nothing was fixed

But, I want it fixed like 100%, I know what they will tell me, no use wasting money for nothing. So there is absolutely no way of getting warranty since the phone isn't available in Canada?

Do you have any relatives in the US?

You can ship it to one of your relatives and they can ship to a Nokia service center in the U.S.

I gave one of my friends that idea and his 6230i was fixed by the Nokia service center in the U.S. no questions asked.

yes, if that is possible, can someone pls send me the info too? mine turned into a brick after using the nokia software update, dont really want to spend a bunch to get it fixed

Have you tried this:remove miniSD,remove battery, replace battery, turn on phone?Don't laugh, sometimes this actually works. Problems with the miniSD maybe stop it from booting.
