N73 dead camera

Ive just updated to the new firmware and was having problems with some stuff so i formatted my sd card and then done a hard reset. But now when i open the lens cover the camera app doesnt start and if i start it manually only the front camera will work?? Cant figure out why this is happening?

Any ideas?

Try hard reset. if that doesn't work.. try to flash it again using Phoenix. I don't think NSU will allow you to flash it again unless there is a new FW version.
 
no...NSU will allow you to flash again. i flashed my n73 3 times already...all with the latest firmware.

NSU will tell you that you have the latest and if you wanna reflash.
 
Is this gonna help though?? Im pretty sure this happened before i updated.. plus ive hard reset since updating? maybe something wrong with the mechanism?


EDIT: Seems to be working now for some reason.. strange.. anyways panic over lol!
 
I ran into the same problem just 3 weeks after I purchased my N73. It was a hardware fault on mine because despite all the hard resets, the problem remains. Nokia tooks 7 weeks to replace the phone after a tough complaint.
