N73 camera problem

so i just got my n73. the pictures are great when taken. but the preview is really hazy. also because the preview is hazy that means that the video is hazy. this problem went away once but has now come back and never went away again. is it a problem with the lens? can it be fixed? thank you.
 
I always get a blue haze in the preview. Especially indoors.

Photoshop or Picasa can clean up the pictures a bit, but I haven't gotten the hang of taking pictures with mine yet.
 
so is that blue haze normal for all n73 or is it just some of ours? Also when i first got the phone with an old firmware i though it would be that but then i upgraded to the IE firmware and it still the same?
 
well have u tried it with the flash off and taking a pic with somne lighting indoors? i sometimes get the blueish haze in the final picture.
 
ok i though that just MY n73 was terrible. i really do not care about the preview but this means that my video will be bad. i like shooting videos but i guess i cant do anything other than shoot those videos outside. is their a certain firmware like IE or something that would make it better. thanks.
 
well yeah a little blueish hazy. mostly indoor videos. outdoor videos are not so bad but the color is a little lighter than what it should be. any solutions?
 
i think for the most part, the videos should be ok. some of the indoor videos i took had a little bit of the blue-purple haze, but not really that noticeable. pictures suffer from it pretty much all the time, i think the best situation is under good fluorescent lighting, something about sunlight or lack of light causes the blue-purple haze. that's been my experience... and now the experience has gone as i don't have the n73 anymore.
 
yeah thanks for all your help but it just kind of ticks me off how you have to adjust to lighting in the n73 which has one of the best camera in any phone while i did not have to do so in my N72, my 6630, and my 6620. also, can videos be edited on some program to reduce that bluish haze? thank you.
 
oh man i forgot about video on the phone. now when you guys save a video does it take forever? it takes mine forever and it freezes the phone too? idk if u guys have that problem. i have updated to the latest firmware to the IE version.
