N73 blue haze in photos

I've recently purchased an N73, and I knew that there were some problems with there being a blue haze in photos. My current firmware version is 3.0638.0.0.1 dated 30th October. Is there a newer version than this? I tried NSU and it reported that no new version was available, but I have a feeling there is, and that I simply need to change the product code to get it to update. Has the blue haze been fixed in the newer firmware versions, or at least reduced, or am I stuck with it the way it is?

TIA,

Michael.

when u say blue haze what do u exactly mean, when u first taking the pic, or for night time pics, if its night time pics its still there if its for your first initial screen when taking a photo it dissapears after pic is taken, hope this helps.

well taking pictures of fire is a different story here. They are hard to capture unless you have the right filters on your lens (which cell phones do not) they put off a lot of IR radiation which we feel as heat, but its also light which we cannot see, however your CMOS camera (maybe the N73 is CCD?) either way, it can.

There are newer firmware versions out that just as you suspect, and yes, in order to update do them you need to change your product code. Search the forums here and you should be able to find out how to do it.

Haha, you're desparate for red/white made in Finland aren't you? Well I can say, the build quality is possibly no better than the 'made by Nokia'. The camera lens cover wobbles from side to side. I had to put some folded up bits of paper under the battery cover to stop it creaking and moving when typing on the keypad. And the white front plate seems to be a bit loose around the bottom edge and has a bit of movement to it.
