another one bites the dust.

The PM is stupid as fuck though, hes suggesting that someone else should take over it as he is going to close it for mostly personal reasons and then he is asking for donations.RAB.

He didn't try his best to do crap, he's probably looking to get as many donations as he can, disappear, reappear under a new nick, and make "Oink 2.0" :P
 
I've heard a lot about this place, never became a member though. From what I heard they had good quality control, sad to see a place like that just die.
 
He already has changed his nick. It's currently TACOS. That might be helpful if anyone is contacted by a certain TACOS :P. I know, tasty, but don't fall for the trap.
 
That didn't last long... I remember a certain someone here saying this tracker recruited well known names in the lossless communities for staff, but none of them were even interested in being staff even though they were given staff accounts. Didn't last a month? :huh:

I didn't even bother with asking to be deleted, as I know a few members that asked are still there. I just stopped logging in, and wiped them from my bookmarks.

And it's too bad Geddy had to go the route he did, with the members and uploaders this site had, it could have turned into a great lossless site(at least in the same league as the big two).
 
As caaok said, it just seems like another pitiful attempt to milk more donations out of his users.

Help! I need more money by Monday! If I don't have it by Monday, the tracker will close!

Nice job trying to use his personal life as an excuse to try to mask this blatant attempt to garner more donations.

If he really had "personal issues" that kept him from dedicating time to the tracker, why is he still pushing so hard to have users donate?
