myTouch 3G Slide Froyo?

Has anyone heard an exact date on the release of Froyo for the myTouch 3G Slide? All I have been able to find are reports of it being released "soon." This tells me nothing, as "soon" is relative.

This is the eternal question for Mytouch users. It has been soon since about February when we were expecting our imminent 2.1 update. I would guess sometime in August for our upgrade, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Root your Slide and put 2.2 on it yourself, you will not regret rooting!
