I have a patient who is stumping our entire practice...
recent complaints of fevers/chills/night sweats. urine was suspect. liver enzymes elevated. recent travel to afghanistan. Malaria negative
CBC essentially normal
smell and taste abnormalities along with recent unexplained 35 lbs weight loss. Brain MRI normal showing no malignancies including pituitary
FSH, Testosterone, IGF-1 are all deficient.
Any ideas???
