Myspace html Question?

Im usually pretty good at all that HTML stuff for the most part. But im trying to make my profile just a basic white and I cant. There is nothing in any of the edit profile boxes to indicate that the background should be black, and yet it is.
I have tried deleting EVERYTHING from the edit profile part, but that didnt work.
help
