Thanks!! You made me giggle. My dd just told me that she doesn't know whether to hide or duck??

Always good to laugh!

My kiRAB gave me some funny DVD's for mother's day, like I Love Lucy. My husband looked at them and commented that he didn't see anything in them. I just told him, "they make me laugh, and I need to laugh!" He understood!

Hi Everyone, I wanted to check in and say I survived. The mylegram was not that bad. However, when they injected the dye this time, I could feel it all the way down my leg and into my toes. They told me that they injected near nerve and that it was okay. If you have ever used Biofreeze, that is exactly what it felt like all the way into my toes. Very odd sensation.

I have slept most of the day. I have a backache but am experiencing severe jitterness and feeling of ill health. I think it might be the cyrabalta ?? I can go back on it tomorrow.

I begged the neurosurgeon and he told me that he saw some fusion but not much. I am not sure what this means so now I have to wait to get the results on 23rd of May. I hate waiting.

May you have low pain today.

Hey DP..So happy they may be able to give you results sooner...It sure sounRAB like you have been so uncomfortable to say the least..

Thinking of you and hoping you hear something soon..Glad Netflix are helping to pass the time...

Hi Diet, Glad you got that myleogram over with. I have never had one of those but I have had the dye with an MRI once. I felt like I was on fire everywhere. The worst of that was in the groin area. It made me feel like I was going to pee my pants. (LOL) If you still have the xanax maybe a dose of that would help your jitters. If not a couple of benadryl might help. Take care. Dee

Diet, glad that is over with - hate those tests. I guess the rest is the best thing you can do right now....you do not want to develope one of those horrible headaches. I hope you feel better this mornnig. I totally understand you not wanting to wait several days for a result of the test. Hate waiting.
Take care...let us know...

Leslie

They put me back on the cyrabalta and the nerve pain is unbelievable. I don't know if I am messed up because of the cyrabalta not being in my body for 5 days. I have the jitters and shakes so bad.

So far they have been unable to get me in sooner but I am on a cancellation list.

Overall I feel like a mac truck has run me over and I am becoming concerned by the amount of upper back pain I have. I have never had upper back problems but oh man the pain is overriding the lurabar back pain. Oh well only 7 more days to go but who's counting.

We started Netflix and we sit and watch those as well as Leave it to Beaver and Brady Bunch. We laugh and laugh. Nothing like good old TV to pass the time and to have a chuckle or two. They even have instant viewing movies which I use alot. Great present!!

So glad the test is over...but sorry you have to wait so long....so glad you can get back on the cyrabalta tomorrow..I'm sure the stress isn't helping...

Thinking good thoughts for you and a peaceful night.

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday pepper , been keeping busy . So there is some fusion eh ? SounRAB like me .. My Dr. won't do anything with my non-union just keeps telling me there is SOME fusion goin on and we'll wait.. For what ??

Hope there is sumpin they can do or fix for ya ..:( So cyrabalta is addictive ? I didn't know this , jeez another addicting drug I'll have to worry about. Is cyrabalta like xanax ?? I have cyrabalta for depression , didn't think it was for anxiety too ...

Hope you hear somthin soon..

Diet glad it is all over, is there anyway your consultant could get the results earlier for you, surely he could phone for them, and pass on to you. I know its the waiting and waiting. Best of luck, Round1

Pepper so glad it is over with and unfortunate that you have to wait for the results. I hope you can get a good nights sleep and tomorrow will be a better day for you.

Linda

Hi Pepper, I'm so glad that the test wasn't as bad as you thought it might be and thankfully it's all over now. I hate when test results take so long and it's great of your GP to be trying to get them earlier! Kudos to him. I am not sure what is causing your jitteriness and other symptoms, but maybe it is the withdrawal. I could just be coincidence, but I am seriously doubting that, especially with the timing. Its' a shame, too, especially if it was helping you at all..and now to debate whether or not you really want to keep taking it. Nothing is ever easy for chronic pain sufferers, thats' for sure.

Glad to see you back and you've gotten the worse over with. I hope you did not end up with a headache...it sounRAB like maybe you did not. I know that I had my surgeon say that sometimes on the Xrays, the fusion looks like there is a slight fusion. He said that after my 1st one that I had. He showed me the Xray, as he explained that he could see some of the white cloudiness (being the fusion), but it was very light and not as developed as he expected to see. So, I am thinking that maybey your Surgeon was seeing the beginning of a fusion, just not as complete as he'd consider it to be considered fused. Does that make sense?

Anyway, hope you are feeling better,
Lorie:angel:

Hey girl,
My guess is that the jitteriness is from being off the Cyrabalta. It has a very short half life and so the withdrawal starts quickly after being without it. The only good thing is that with the short half life it also gets BACK into your system very quickly......so you should feel better soon.
Good luck my friend, I hope your pain subsides so you can have a decent week-end. I also hope someone cancels so you can get into the doc sooner than scheduled. Hang in there.

Deb

I had an appt with my family doctor today to get my meRAB refilled and he actually looked in teh computer system and the results are not there. He is going to try and rearrange my appt. He does not want me waiting until the 23rd.

Hi Pepper,
Glad this step is past. Now it's the waiting game again! We'll be keeping you in prayer and being on pins and needles with you until your appt.

I hope getting back on the Cyrabalta will take care of some of those symptoms for you. Keep us in the loop, dear.

Thanks guys. I am talking to my gp doctor this afternoon about whether to go back on the cyrabalta or not. I don't like these feelings I am having and I have only been on it for 5 months. I can't imagine what I would be like after a year. I think I am in withdrawal. My body aches, jittery, zapping pains, and I feel like I am going to strangle someone.

Just sore today - normal stuff.

Hi Diet- I'm glad the mylogram is over and wasn't that bad, I know I get myself all worked up over tests and they turn out not being so bad....go figure...

Its tough waiting for results but keep busy and not think about it and the day will be here before you know it. I pray your results are good.

Hope you can get some rest tonight...Marie

DietDRPepper, I hope your jittery/yukky feeling is over by tomorrow!
I hate feeling like that, and if I do I take a Xanax it helps a lot!

Hoping for good results, from your Mylegram!!!
