my zippo lighter wont spark or flash?

i recently filled my zippo lighter with zippo torch fuel and ti wont even spark but it worked befor i filled it i might have flooded it but its been drying out for 1 hour i dont want to send it in and i cleaned it with wire brush and no luck i even eptyed it and re did it and let it dry no luck any other advice
 
Maybe try lighting it from another (working) lighter, to help isolate the area with the problem. If it don't light then the problems something to do with the fuel, or the wick

If it does light from other lighter, then problem with spark ignition. New flint needed sounds very plausable. Maybe you got some grease on the flint/wheel, or maybe knocked the flint out
(doesn't make a grinding type noise does it? If so there almost certainly no flint
 
Take the flint out and replace it with a new flit after it dries out check the spring and make sure it's not compressed if so stretch it VERY slightly. Never over fill a zippo.
