my yamaha dirtbike wont run?

ok i just bought a 1970 175cc 2 stroke dirtbike the guy told me all it needed was the carb cleaned and fresh gas it has been sittin for about a year ive put n a new plug gas and an oil change and everytime i kick it it acts like it wants to start but doesnt and the spark coming from the plug isnt really big what do i do plz help
 
its just mite mean it was sitting to long and something in the spark pug is sticking thats my guess a neew spark plug
