My xbox 360 is acting weird?

after i put in the disc it sounds like it trys to spin for just a secon and then will slow down and do it again and slow down again until it finally freezes up or tells my the disc is unreadable. The disc is almost spotless. what is wrong????
 
the rings around the "on" button is about to turn red. which means...its junk, and there is no fixing it...time 2 buy a new 1... : /
 
If all the other games work ok then that game is defective.. I,ve had similar problems with some games like that with some Game Cube games..
