is this? In the four areas where my wisdom teeth were removed, all seem to be healing well except for one area on the lower left side of my mouth. I'm getting no pain, but it just feels awkward. It feels like a lump there, or like a piece of skin is hanging off, that's the best way to describe it ... the rest feel flat/smooth. My left cheek is also swollen in that area, but my right side isn't.
I've heard that this happens to a lot of people because if the dentist who was doing the operation is right handed, it means it was harder for him to operate on that area. Is there any truth to this? Will it eventually smooth over, or should I go to get it seen to?
