My Wii remote broke randomly

I was boxing, and 1/2 way through the match my one glove stops doing anything, so I play around a bit and realise that my remote is no longer doing what it is supposed to. So I try many different things (reset the system, change the batteries, reconnect the remote, etc) and it still doesnt work. It lets me push buttons and navigates the screens fine when I point the remote at the screen.

But it just wont work like it should for sports, can't even budge the bat in the baseball game for example. Anyone know if I can fix this or not?

And it isn't even like I did anything to cause it, I was boxing, didn't hit anything... it just randomly stopped fucking working.

Thats what I figure. That fucking sucks though since it is my only remote and means I wont be able to play my Wii for at least a week. Such BS!

Ok, so I fixed my remote. Now I don't know what I should do.


I should probably send it back and get a new one just in case it does it again.


I fixed it how you 'fix' any electronics that arent working - by hitting it a few times (not to hard, but enough to bump whatever was wrong with it back into place)

nope, I resynced it many times. The only thing that fixed it was banging it against my palm a few times
