My Wii remote batteries died last night.

Four days after launch, and I haven't even played a huge amount.

This system is going to cost more than my PS3 and 360 combined if I need to buy batteries every 4 days

I have a feeling they are coming out with some recharging option for the controllers, i noticed they have the metal connectors on the bottom of the remote already that look like they are for that purpose.

As for my batteries; Still says full for me

Mine and my brothers batteries died already too. I'm a little dissappointed. My wavebird controllers had excellent battery life.

I bought a pack of double a rechargeables, and a recharge kit that came with a set of rechargeables from tiger direct about a month before i picked up my preorder.

I think i spent like 15 bucks with shipping on it. I want to say they are called "Ultra" and are like 2500 mAh whatever that means

can't you use rechargeable NiMhs? I use those on almost everything. I got 4 Energizer AA and a 15 minute charger for like $20 from Target

Mine died at 24 hours on TP and I swapped out with some Duracell batts. I'm at 50 hours on TP now, and I got about 5 hours of Wii Sports in too, and the Duracells are still going strong. I'm gonna get some rechargeables when these Duracell batts die.
