So here is what I have.

Wii Console (of course) with 4 controllers and chucks

Madden 07
CoD3
Excite Truck
Elebits

And I can't play any of them until Christmas They are all just sitting there in my bedroom closet. Calling to me. But these are gonna be Santa gifts to be laid out Christmas eve after my boys go to sleep

Learn how to repackage gifts. I mastered the art at age 9 and was finding and subsequently playing with my Christmas gifts way before Christmas. I just repackaged them expertly and acted surprised when I opened them on the 25th.

Ouch, gotta wait another week. Sucks for you.

My Wii Inventory...

Wii
Wii-Mote x2
Nunchuck x2
Wii Sports (of course)
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Rayman: Raving Rabbids
Excite Truck
Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
Trauma Center: Second Opinion

From GameFly:
Red Steel
Elebits

True. I just don't have the time to devote that many hours to an adventure game though. I figure an hour of Madden every now and then will be all the time I'll have. And of course some Wii Sports.

It would be great! The only reading is the short instructions before each game. Most of the 70 mini games are pretty easy to pick up anyway. Kids should get a kick out of the rabbits in the game....it's one of the few games to ever make me actually laugh out loud. They're a riot.

wii (obviously) and wii sports
2 wiimotes
2 chucks
metal slug anthology (won't need a new game for at least a month now, metal slug rules!)

then my girl is getting me some games for x-mas. i think i'm getting call of duty, need for speed carbon (on gamecube) and some gamecube controllers and memory cards

Your seven-year-old is old enough. I beat The Legend of Zelda when I was 6, IIRC. He may not beat the game, but he will really get an appeciation and understand of the game's series, so that when he's old enough, he'll jump right in, and recognize how young he was getting into the series.

I might have to give him more credit than I am. He is playing Company of Hero's pretty well. I can't imagine TP can be a whole lot more complicated then that.

I'll have to rent it and check it out.
